Kayla Ann Guthrie

Kayla Ann Guthrie was born Sept. 1, 1996, in Waterloo and left this world unexpectedly and far too soon June 27, 2020.

She is survived by her parents, Jason Guthrie (Dana Jandt) and Kristen (Todd) Breuer; brother, Noah Guthrie; grandparents, Bert and Marta Guthrie, Ed Wilson and Jennifer McConeghey; and several uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. She was proceeded in death by her grandfather, Tom McConeghey; and great-grandparents.

She graduated from Waterloo West High School in 2014 and most recently resided in Ankeny. Kayla was a beautiful young woman and definitely one of a kind; there will never be another like her. She loved her family, journaling, movies listening to music — especially 5 Seconds of Summer — and going to concerts. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her.
