Integrity on display

Today in the Iowa Statehouse, the Blue Alert was signed in effect. The picture taken had 10 people and Gov. Kim Reynolds. Only one of the 11 had a mask on and that was State Representative Wes Breckenridge of District 29.

To me, this shows respect for others and concern for them. COVID 19 is not slowing down likely due to the fact many aren’t following the guidelines which have been given.

So what does this say about one person who continues to be concerned about the current situation and the citizens? Only one person, State Representative Wes Breckenridge dares to show his integrity by wearing a mask while the Governor doesn’t.

COVID 19 is not political even though many think so. It is an illness which they are still learning about. Since we don’t know the long-term effects yet, all should be required to wear a mask while in public so those who already have underlining health issues can be protected.

Vote Breckenridge Nov. 3.
