Getting back to a new normal

Now that Governor Reynolds has allowed businesses in Jasper Country to reopen with some restrictions, finally, we will again be able to go our favorite restaurants, work out at the gym and get our hair cut.

One thing I think we should all think about are those who will be back to work serving us our food, staffing our gyms and cutting our hair. They were probably not making money during this crisis and we need to make sure we show our appreciation by tipping them more than we normally would when we eat out and we really should pay our hair stylists not just for that much-needed haircut, but for the haircut we missed last month due to the closings. We would have had to pay that anyway, so it would be a great show of generosity.

Also, I would hope that those with gym memberships kept those going during all this time to help keep those vital places operating.

Hopefully, soon we can all get back to a new, safer normal way of living and learn to be more appreciative of those whose services we sometimes may take for granted.
