Newton Congregational United Church of Christ, 308 E. Second St. N., will host an Ash Wednesday service of worship at 6 p.m. Wednesday. The service will include prayer, scripture, time for reflection and the imposition of ashes.
The public is invited to gather and be reminded of our mortality and our call to faithfully live our lives to the fullest as we enter the season of Lent.
