Newton JV rolls past Valley

Newton’s JV2 girls’ basketball team breezed past West Des Moines Valley on Monday night. The Cardinals defeated the Tigers 43-21.

Leading the way for Newton was Emily Wermager with 10 points. Jessie Hutchinson, Roxanna Alamazan and Marissa Cunningham all scored six points.
