Over the past 18 months, I worked closely with Mayor Mike Hansen to produce a lasting tribute to legendary boxer Rocky Marciano, who lost his life in Newton in a plane crash on Aug. 31, 1969. Working with Mayor Hansen was a very enjoyable experience and I soon discovered that he has a passion for Newton and is dedicated to making the city a better place for all to enjoy. I am enthusiastically supporting Mike Hansen in his bid for re-election.
