Cline Tool expands into Indianapolis region

Cline Tool, one of the largest custom tool manufacturers in the U.S. and a leader in industrial distribution, recently opened a new facility in Indianapolis, Ind.

This new location offers area manufacturers a full range of services, including custom metal cutting tools, engineering services, integrated supply/vending programs, tool resharpening and indexable tool repair.

“We provide our customers a unique combination of expertise in all facets of manufacturing that focuses on improving their operational efficiency. We are excited about expanding into this new territory,” Jim Long said.

Cline Tool is headquartered in Newton and has locations in Houston, Texas, Rockford, Ill. and Fletcher, N.C.

Founded in Newton in 1948, Cline Tool designs and manufactures custom metal cutting tools, in addition to being a provider of integrated supply programs and an industrial tool distributor. They serve manufacturing leaders in a variety of industries, including agriculture, construction equipment, automotive, appliances, medical and hydraulic valve controls.
