Lynnville-Sully perfect in SICL volleyball play

BROOKLYN — Lynnville-Sully’s Hawks pushed their mark in the South Iowa Cedar League to 4-0 with a 25-12, 25-16, 25-10 victory against host BGM last Monday at Brooklyn.

Korrine Jansen put in the work at the net and the service line for the Hawks. She had 10 kills and went 20-of-20 serving with four service aces. She also had 13 digs.

Krystal Van Dyke powered down 10 kills and put up eight solo blocks.

Mallory Loftus matched her teammate with eight solo blocks and had seven kills. Van Dyke mad three digs and Loftus had two digs.

Denali Conover had a team-high 22 digs and put down seven kills. She was 12-of-12 serving with one ace. Cayler Noun Harder was 11-of-12 serving with one ace and had eight digs.

Janelle Rozendaal stayed perfect at the service line, going 18-of-18. She was credited with 22 set assists and seven digs. Noun Harder had five set assists.

Aliya James had five digs and Jaden Brand had four digs. Bryar Hill made three digs and Cally Gibbs had one dig.

Lynnville-Sully (13-4) plays Monday in SICL action against Colfax-Mingo (2-12, 0-4) in Colfax.
