COON RAPIDS — Baxter’s girls’ golf season came to an end on Monday after the Bolts finished fourth at a Class 1A regional at Coon Rapids Golf Course.
Sadie Meyer shot a 107 and Abbey Shepley carded a 114, but they finished too far back to advance to next week’s final round.
The Bolts shot a 481 and edged Earlham by three strokes for fourth.
IKM-Manning had three of the top six golfers on the day and won the meet with a 392.
Host Coon Rapids-Bayard finished second with a 418 and Glidden-Ralston also advanced with a 448.
The other two counting scores came from Piper Larson and Sophie Meyer.
Larson shot a 114, while Sophie Meyer finished with a 149. Bekka Watt had a non-counting 152.
Glidden-Ralston’s Whitney Reever won medalist honors with a 91. Kamaya Jacobsen of IKM-Manning was second with a 93.
