PEO chapters gather

The four Newton P.E.O. Chapters ME, LC, HS and AO met April 16 at McCann Center for their annual Reciprocity Dinner catered by Country Catering of Pella. There was an introduction of 50-, 60- or 75-year members, initiates and transferred members. Names of those who entered into Chapter Eternal were read. The speaker was Karon Dykstra, great-granddaughter of Hattie Briggs (Bousquet) who was one of the founders of P.E.O. The current presidents are: Chapter AO, IlaMae Hanish; Chapter LC, Shari DeCook; Chapter HS, Pat Foote; and Chapter ME, Shirley Guillaume.
