Gloria Marlaine Nordskow, 87, of Colfax, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2019, at Mitchell Village Care Center in Mitchellville. The family will greet friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6 at Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax. A brief graveside service will follow at Colfax Cemetery. The daughter of Floyd and Mary (Rush) Thompson, Gloria was born Sept. 21, 1931, in Colfax. She graduated from Colfax High School in 1949. On Nov. 25, 1949, she was united in marriage to Jon Nordskow. Gloria enjoyed being at home, gardening, flowers and sewing.
Those left to honor her memory include her three daughters, Jonni (Andy) Engel, Sammye (Jerry) Cretin and Robin Moreland; 11 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents; and husband, Jon in 1991.
