Student of the Month

Newton High School senior Lakin Jenkins joined the Newton Noon Kiwanis for lunch in October. Jenkins shared all the latest in NHS sports, band and class activities during the month.

A children’s book will be donated to a local preschool program in Jenkins’s name in thanks for sharing her time with the Noon Kiwanis. Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time.

The Newton Noon Kiwanis Club is dedicated to serving the local community through various services and fund-raising projects.
