Breaking ground

Doug, Dustin and Bryan Johnson, president, vice president and head of operations for the family-owned DDJ Hospitality, Inc., broke ground at the large-project interior housing company’s build site for its Newton-based headquarters. The ceremony also included prominent city and Jasper County figures like Dennis Combs of NetWork Realty, Jasper County Board of Supervisors Doug Cupples and Denny Carpener, Newton Mayon Mike Hansen, Colfax Mayor David Mast and Iowa Sen. Doug, Bryan and Dustin Johnson, president, head of operations and vice president for the family-owned DDJ Hospitality, Inc., broke ground Thursday at the large-project interior housing company’s build site for its Newton-based headquarters.
