Entries needed for Jasper County Fair Parade

The 2018 Jasper County Fair parade will be at 7 p.m. Monday, July 23 in Colfax. All division entries are needed. Everyone is welcome to participate.

Parade details include the following:

Lineup will begin at 5 p.m. 4-H and FFA floats will line up on Broadway Street, south of the elementary school. Open division floats are to line up on Broadway Street, southwest of the elementary school.

Antique cars should line up on Spring Street. Tractors can line up on Locust Street, south of Broadway Street.

All horses should unload at Kelly Field in the parking lot, north of Highway 6 on Kelly Street. There will be no parking on West Street, as this is the alternate traffic route.

For safety reasons, no candy or other items are to be thrown from any unit in the parade. If you wish to distribute candy or other items, you may have people walking along side the street handing out such items. No paper pamphlets or brochures of any kind are to be handed out during the parade, due to the litter these cause.
