Newton Police Department
• Stacy L. Lorenzen, 45, of Newton, was arrested on three Jasper County warrants after authorities were called at 5:33 p.m. Friday to 213 N. Third Ave. E. She was taken to the Jasper County Jail.
• Ashley N. Reed, 36, of Newton, was charged with trespassing after authorizes were called at 5:46 p.m. May 9 to the 600 block of South Second Avenue West. Officers were called about a suspicious person and discovered Reed inside of the residence where she did not have permission. She was cited and release to appear.
• Richard L. Dimon, 60, of Newton, was charged with domestic abuse assault after authorities were called at 7:25 p.m. May 15 to the 300 block of East 10th Street North. Officers were called about a domestic situation and spoke with the victim who said Dimon was inside the residence impaired. Due to Dimon’s condition, the victim had been staying in the garage. When the victim returned to the house, she was kicked by Dimon. He was taken to the Jasper County Jail.
