Cory Warrick

Cory Warrick, 62, of Valeria, died Aug. 4, 2017, at Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life in honor of Cory at the Howard Street Christian Church in Colfax from 2 to 5 p.m. Sept. 10.

Cory, the son of Clyde and Molly (Buckley) Warrick, was born Aug. 2, 1955, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. He graduated from Mingo High School in 1973. Cory was employed at NAPA Auto Parts and formerly at Union 76 Truck Stop. Cory enjoyed spending time with his wife Jianqiu Li (Lijin) and their two dogs, Coco and Gia. He also enjoyed the company of family and friends and riding his motorcycle.

Cory was proceeded in death by his parents, Clyde and Molly (Buckley) Warrick; first wife, Elaine (Flattery) Warrick; and brother-in-law, Robert (Bob) Slack.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Jianqiu Li (Lijin); brother, Curt (Kathie) Warrick; sister, Cindy Slack; sister, Crystal (Doug) Enderson; as well as many nieces, nephews and great-nieces/nephews.
