Newton's WEST Academy class of 2017 graduation ceremony filled the auditorium at DMACC Thursday morning. Thirty-one students from WEST received diplomas at the event. Principal Mike Moran gave introductions, and Superintendent Bob Callaghan read the names of the class of 2017. Students Kori Carter and Victoria Cox gave heart-felt speeches.
