Brian P. McWhirter, 47, of Baxter, died Saturday, June 18, 2016, at the Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines. Brian’s funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 23 at the Baxter Community High School Gym, 202 E. State St. The family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 22 at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton.
