Thirty-one students represented Ellsworth Community College proudly last week at the 2016 Iowa Postsecondary Agricultural Student Spring Leadership Conference held at Honey Creek Lodge by Lake Rathbun.
Garrett Worthington, of Newton, received fourth place in Employment Interview — Agriculture Equipment Service and fourth place in the team event in the College Bowl. His teammates included Katie Rinkert, of Prole; Mike Wolthuizen, of Sanborn; John Eiklenborg, of Dike; and Cole Birchmier, of Story City
Jacob Marter, of Newton, was a member of the Swine Specialist: ECC Team #1 that placed third and qualified for Nationals. On his team were Melissa Gerkin, of Lake City, Minn.; and Connor Rieks, of Alden.
