PCM superintendent position offered to Ogden administrator Jermeland

MONROE — The PCM Community Schools Board of Education announced Wednesday it has offered the district’s open superintendent position to Ogden Community School District Superintendent Bradley Jermeland. The decision came during a special meeting at Prairie City-Monroe High School.

The offer is pending Jermeland’s release from his current employment contract and a background check.

If Jermeland accepts, he will replace retiring PCM superintendent Jane Babcock and begin duties next school year.

“We’re excited about that,” board president Greg Ingle said following the announcement.

The superintendent search process began after Babcock announced her retirement to the school board during a January board meeting.

Jermeland was among two other finalists — Chris Anderson of Monticello and David Versteeg of Montezuma.
