E. Nadine Schwartz

E. Nadine (Versteegh) Schwartz, 84, of Newton, formerly of Kellogg, died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at the Skiff Medical Center in Newton.

A funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17 at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton. The family will greet friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16 at the funeral home. Memorials in Nadine’s name may be left at the funeral home. Memorials are going to be used for several projects. Memorials may also be mailed to the funeral home please add, Attn: Schwartz Family on the envelope.

Those left to honor Nadine’s memory are her children, Pam (and Steve) Iano of Indianola, Craig Schwartz of Kellogg, Nancy Schwartz Ehrhart of San Tan Valley, Ariz., David (and Joan) Schwartz of Waterville and Dennis (and Sheryl) Schwartz of Colfax; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; her sister, Virginia Meredith of Newton; her brothers, Ken (and JoAnn) Versteegh of Newton, Vern (and Jayne) Versteegh of Newton, Duane (and Karen) Versteegh of Sioux Falls, S.D., Carl (and Donna) Versteegh of Newton and Marvin (and Barb) Versteegh of Newton; and her sister-in-law, Mary Ann Versteegh of Newton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Kenneth Schwartz; brother Don Versteegh; brother-in-law Bruce Meredith; and sister-in-law Mary Versteegh.
