• Jason K. Anderson, AGE, of Newton is charged with domestic assault causing injury after authorities were called to 701 E. 25th St. S. at 9:47 p.m. Friday. Officers found the victim laying on the ground unconscious, breathing but not responsive. Anderson is accused of pushing the victim which caused her to fall and hit her head on the street after having an argument. He was taken to the Jasper County Jail.

• Natasha B. Anderson, 27, of Newton is charged with public intoxication first offense after authorities were called to 700 E. 25th St. S. at 9:47 p.m. Friday. Officers arrived on the scene where Anderson was lying in the middle of the street. She left her residence after a confrontation with her husband. She was found to have blood shot eyes and slurred words as she yelled at the paramedics assisting her. After being transported to Skiff Medical Center, she performed a breath test resulting in a .192. She was taken to the Jasper County Jail.

• Vanessa M. Chavez-Hutton, 26, of Newton is charged with first-degree harassment and disorderly conduct after authorities were called to 1453 N. 11th Ave. E. at 9:25 p.m. Sunday. Officers arrived to find Chavez-Hutton and the victim, who had recently fought after the victim accused Chavez-Hutton harassing her on Facebook. Chavez-Hutton also allegedly produced a knife and told the victim he will “get what’s coming to him”. She was taken to the Jasper County Jail.

• Willie J. Dolly, 34, of Newton is charged with domestic assault after authorities were called to 1024 E. 12th St. N. #6 at 2:28 p.m. Friday. Officers found Dolly and the victim in the apartment they shared. The victim said Dolly had kicked her in the head and slapped them in front of kids as well as choked and scratched them. There were visible scratch marks on the victim’s neck. He was taken to the Jasper County Jail.

• Jessica Marie Hutton-Lomeli, 25, of Newton is charged with disorderly conduct and interference with official acts after authorities were called to 1452 N. 11th Ave. E. at 9:25 p.m. Sunday. Hutton-Lomeli admitted to confronting the victim about harassment on Facebook. The two began fighting and objects left the apartment. After being separated, Hutton-Lomeli refused to comply with the direction to go back to her apartment. She was taken to the Jasper County Jail.

• Eric R. Larson, 54, of Mesa, Ariz., is charged with operating while intoxicated after authorities were called to 1209 W. 16th St. S. at 3:12 a.m. Saturday. Officers found a vehicle running and Larson laying on the ground after having fallen out. He smelled strongly of alcohol and also had vomit on his leg. Larson admitted to falling asleep in the truck and not remembering how he got back to the parking lot. He failed the preliminary field tests but refused a breath test. He was taken to the Jasper County Jail.

• Billy D. Lay, 46, of Newton is charged with criminal trespass after authorities were called to 427 N. Second Ave. E. at 11:03 p.m. Sunday. Lay was found inside an apartment without the permission of the landlord. He was taken to the Jasper County Jail.

• Suzette M. Oldham, 38, of Newton is charged with fifth-degree theft after authorities were called to Wal-Mart at 12:14 p.m. Friday. Oldham admitted to officers she took makeup out of the package and used it, then attempted to leave the store with two other items totalling in $12.66. She was cited and released to appear.

• Camron K. Olson, 32, of Collins is charged with extortion and third-degree theft after authorities questioned him at 101 W. Fourth St. S. at 1:04 p.m. July 24. On June 28, Olson allegedly threatened to kill the victim and their family if the victim did not pay him  money. Olson admitted to leaving threatening voicemails and stealing the victim’s laptop. He was taken to the Jasper County Jail.

• Samir V. Pandya, 39, of Newton is charged with public intoxication after authorities were called to 300 First St. S. at 9:44 p.m. Saturday. Officers were told that Pandya was intoxicated and had left the residence. He then returned and tried to enter the residence. Pandya admitted to having two drinks and failed the sobriety maneuvers he attempted. He was taken to the Jasper County Jail.

• Nathan J. Sjaardema, 23, is charged with criminal trespass after authorities were called to 427 N. Second Ave. E. at 11:03 p.m. Sunday. Sjaardema was found inside an apartment without the permission of the landlord. He was taken to the Jasper County Jail.

• Melissa K. Stephen, 36, of Newton is charged with criminal trespass after authorities were called to 427 N. Second Ave. E. at 11:03 p.m. Sunday. Stephen was found inside an apartment without the permission of the landlord. She was taken to the Jasper County Jail.

• Charles S. Vaughn, 49, of Newton is charged with criminal trespass after authorities were called to 427 N. Second Ave. E. at 11:03 p.m. Sunday. Vaughn was found inside an apartment without the permission of the landlord. He was taken to the Jasper County Jail.

• Caleb J. L. Wilson, 23, of Newton, is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal trespass after authorities were called to 427 N. Second Ave. E. at 11:03 p.m. Sunday. Vaughn was found inside an apartment without the permission of the landlord. During a search, officers found a pipe that was used for drug activities. He was taken to the Jasper County Jail.

• Jocelyan J. Wilson, 18, of Newton is charged with criminal trespass-simple misdemeanor after authorities were called to 427 N. Second Ave. E. at 11:03 p.m. Sunday. Wilson was found inside an apartment without the permission of the landlord. She was taken to the Jasper County Jail.
