Newton Police Department
• Moesha Conley, 31, of Newton was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief after authorities responded to a vandalism complaint at 5:16 p.m. Oct. 3 at 1742 W. Fourth St. N. in Newton. Conley was charged for allegedly causing an estimated $261.06 in damage to a 9-year-old boy’s bike after the boy threw rocks and apples at her. Conley was released to appear in court. The boy was charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly throwing items at Conley as well as calling her names and engaging in loud, violent behavior in public. He was referred to juvenile court services.
