Keith A. ‘Rocky’ Sandrock

Keith A. “Rocky” Sandrock, 70, of rural Chariton; formerly of Newton, died on Thursday, June 6, 2013, at the Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton. The family will greet friends from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials in Rocky’s name may be left at the funeral home. Memorials also may be mailed to the funeral home; please add, Attn: Sandrock Family on the envelope.

Survivors include his wife, Pat Allen Sandrock of rural Chariton; daughter, Kendra Trotter of Colfax; son, Kevin Sandrock of Knoxville; his six grandchildren, Brittany, Cody, Jaiden, Tanner, Kurtlyn and Seth; great-granddaughter, Joplin; his brother, Gordon (Ellen) Sandrock of Eden Prairie, Minn.; his two sisters, Donna (Bob) Alderette of Sunset Beach, Cali. and Sheila (Keith) Dunkerson of Newton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Kurt Sandrock in 1994.
