Scott Alan Strike

Scott Alan Strike, 48, was born June 26, 1963, in Newton, Iowa. He passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012, in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Scott was a graduate of Newton Senior High School. After graduation, he enlisted in the Marine Corps, where he served his country proudly. On May 31, 1986, he married Joni Buckingham. They were blessed with a daughter, Reagan Mariah, whom he cherished. A devoted Catholic, Scott has been a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, North Little Rock, since 1995. He loved all sports whether playing or as a spectator. After moving to Arkansas, he quickly became an avid Razorback fan. He spent more than 20 years working in sales and loved the relationships he built with his customers.

Scott is survived by his wife, Joni; daughter Reagan; parents, Burt and Marlis Strike of Newton, Iowa; sister Nancy White, of Centerville, Iowa; and her children, Jason and Cheryl; brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Lori Strike, of Newton, Iowa, and their sons C.J. and Jarid.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 17, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will be in Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
