Child Care Providers recognized

Newton Mayor Chaz Allen signed a proclamation recently declaring Friday, May 6 as Child Care Provider Appreciation Day in Newton. The day is intended to recognize a valuable workforce that is often underpaid and overlooked. Qualified child care professionals serve as teacher, nurse, nutritionist, social worker, psychologist, activity director, speech therapist and much more.Child Care Resource and Referral of Jasper County (CCRR) thanks the many quality child care providers in the county.
