Mary Anne Tometich of Johnston and Jonathan David Kaisand of Ames were united in marriage June 12, 2010, at Johnston Evangelical Free Church in Johnston.
Kate Mabee, friend of the bride, was the maid of honor. Melissa Ulrickson and Elizabeth Behrens, sisters of the bride, were the matrons of honor. Elizabeth Flug, sister of the groom, and Britney Hudson, friend of the bride, were bridesmaids. Aviah Flug and Evelyn Behrens, nieces, were flowergirls.
Scott Petersen, cousin of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were John Ulrickson, brother-in-law of the bride; Scott Behrens, brother-in-law of the groom; David Flug, brother-in-law of the groom; and Ryan Tometich, brother of the bride. Ryan Wilson and Mike Traxel, friends of the bride and groom, were ushers. Ring bearers were Sam, Jack and Max Ulrickson and Caden and Briston Flug, nephews of the couple.
A reception took place at the Foxboro Conference Center in Johnston. The couple spent their honeymoon at the Sandals Resort in Jamaica.
Mary is the daughter of John and Cindy Tometich of Johnston. She was home-schooled and graduated in 2006. She attends DMACC Ankeny Campus.
Jonathan is the son of Melinda and the late Earl Kaisand of Newton. He is a 2003 graduate of Newton Senior High School and a 2005 graduate of Crown College in St. Bonifacius, Minn., where he received his associate’s degree. He is continuing his education at Iowa State University in Ames and is employed as a screen maker at Seymour Screen Excellence in Ames.
The couple resides in Ames.
