Lincoln Joseph Hammerly, 13 days, of Newton died on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minn.
A funeral mass will be at 6 p.m. tonight at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1115 S. Eighth Ave. E. in Newton. The family will greet friends from 2 to 5:30 p.m. today at the church.
A private family burial will be held at Wittemberg Cemetery in rural Newton. Memorials to the donor’s choice may be left at the church at the time of the service or at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton.
Survivors include his parents, Ike and Liz Hammerly of Newton; sister, Addalynn Hammerly of Newton; his grandparents, Kathy and Galen Hammerly of Newton, Kim Wolbers of Cascade, Iowa, and Mike Ressler of Cascade, Iowa; great-grandparents, Connie and Ed Hoffman of Cascade, Iowa; and his several aunts and uncles.
