Dennis B. Illingworth, 57, of Newton died on Friday, Feb. 19, 2010, at the Hospice of Jasper County’s Monarch Wing in Newton.
A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton. The family will greet friends immediately following the memorial service with a coffee time at the funeral home.
A private family burial will be at Newton Memorial Park Cemetery in Newton at a later date. Memorials in Dennis’ name may be left at the funeral home.
Survivors include his son, Matthew of Newton; father, Frank Illingworth of Newton; his sister, Shirley Van Genderen of Newton; his brother, Tom (Diane) Illingworth of Newton; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty; his brother, Doug, in November of 2009; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
