Cross, Ryan to wed

Marty and Deb Cross of Newton and Mike and Sandy Ryan of New Sharon announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their children, Nick Cross and Megan Ryan.

Nick is a graduate of Lynnville-Sully High School and Central College in Pella and is employed as a production manager at Pella Corporation in Sioux Center. Megan is a graduate of North Mahaska High School and Graceland University and is employed as a second grade teacher and assistant volleyball coach at West Sioux Community School District in Hawarden.

Cross is the grandson of Bernard Crook and the late Barbara Crook, and Ryan is the granddaughter of Art and Elaine Ryan, Charles McNeer and the late Betty McNeer.

A wedding is planned for Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Newton. The couple will reside in Sioux Center.
