MONROE — Milo R. Clark, 70, of Monroe, died Monday, Oct. 5, 2009, at
Hospice of Pella Comfort House.

Memorial services for Milo will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Monroe United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Dunreath Cemetery at a later
date.

Visitation will be today at Coburn Funeral Home of Monroe from 2 to 8 p.m. with family present to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

Memorials may be given to the Monroe Public Library or to Hospice of Pella Comfort House.

The son of Joseph and Bernice (Mohler) Clark, Milo was born on Aug. 30, 1939, at Dunreath. Milo was a graduate of Monroe High School. On June 26, 1960, Milo was united in marriage with Janet Nolin at the Tools Chapel Church east of Monroe.

Milo and Janet made their home in rural Monroe where Milo farmed. Milo was a Farm Bureau Member, NC+Seed Corn Company Dealer and school bus driver. He was a member of the Community of Christ Church.

Those left to honor his memory are his wife Janet Clark of Monroe; four children, Theresa (Jeff) Hansen of Clarion, Phil (Kathy) Clark of Monroe, Cathy (Mike) Wood of Monroe and Joe Clark (Jason Clayworth) of Des Moines; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, David (Joann) Clark of Monroe and Paul Clark of Monroe, and two sisters; Daisy (Lavern) Young of Monroe and Jane (Steve) Friedman of Monroe.

Milo was preceded in death by his parents and stepmother, Mina Faye Clark.
