Newton Women’s Connection is a great place to connect with other women and enjoy an uplifting program.
The women of the area are invited to the July luncheon on Thursday, July 9, featuring “Breaking News.” WHO TV news anchor, Brooke Bouma (right), will tell what it is like to be part of a TV news team.
Jolene Philo from Boone will share her story, “To Catch a Thief”. When Jolene’s first child was born with a major birth defect, doubt and fear threatened to steal her joy, but she learned to catch those thieves and live joyfully in difficult circumstances.
Tickets are $10.50 inclusive and doors open at 11:30 a.m. with program over the noon hour
at DMACC-Sodexho, 600 N. Second Ave. W. in Newton.
For reservations, call by Monday morning, July 6 to Jeanette at 791-0972, or Jeanine at 792-2262, or email to womenconnect_newton@yahoo.com.
