Rebecca V. ‘Becca’ Sanders and James A. ‘Jimmie’ Sanders

Rebecca V. “Becca” Sanders, 29, and James A. “Jimmie” Sanders, 31, both died on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008, in rural Newton. They were both from Newton. Joint funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton.    Friends may call after 11 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home, where the family will greet friends from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers the families request memorials to the Lilly, Jocelyn and Kiya Sanders Trust Fund. Memorials may be left at the funeral home. Becca’s survivors include three daughters, Lilly V., Jocelyn A. and Kiya W. Sanders, all of Newton; mother, Lorna Walls of Newton; father,            Dave (Julie Burr) Walls of Newton; three sisters, Heather (Jason) Cain of Newton, Trisha Walls of Newton and Heavenly Ruiz of Newton; brother, Travis W. Nichol of Newton; two step-sisters, Becky and Brandi Collins; and grandmother, Betty Albertson of Newton. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather and paternal grandparents. Jimmie’s survivors include three daughters, Lilly V., Jocelyn A. and Kiya W. Sanders, all of Newton; mother, Polly Sanders of Atkins; two brothers, Jerry Sanders of Clarinda and Arthur (Becky) Sanders of What Cheer; and grandmother, Ruth Logue of Newton. He was preceded in death by his father, James Wilson and his maternal and paternal grandparents.*
