H. Robert Brayton

KILLDUFF — H. Robert Brayton of Killduff, formerly of Newton, died April 25, 2008, at Mercy Medical Center. He was born to Wilbur and Marie Brayton on Aug. 27, 1927. He is survived by two sons, John (Mary) Brayton of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Kirk Brayton of Venice, Calif.; one daughter, Deborah Brayton of Newton; a brother, Don (Myrna) Brayton of Ankeny; a sister-in-law, Martha Brayton of Newton; a brother-in-law, Gary Skiles of Marco Island, Fla.; his lifelong partner, Pat Johnson of Killduff; her daughter, Jennifer, and her sons, Matt and Scott; four grandsons, Mark (Holly) Albright, Brett Albright, Ryan Albright and Jeff Albright; two granddaughters, Taylor Brayton and Alexa Rutherford; and many nieces and nephews. There will be a potluck dinner and gathering at Amboy Trail Ranch at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 7, to celebrate Robert’s life. Memorials to DaVita Kidney Care or to Pat Johnson may be left at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton where arrangement have been made. *
