Dear Sara: How long do spices last? I know I have tons that have no expiration dates on them. Some spices still have a good smell, but I’m not sure if they will hold their true spice flavor during cooking. LOS ANGELES (MCT) — Human beings are such gorgeously contradictory creatures — we demand variety (it’s the spice of life!) and hate change. Nowhere is that more pronounced than in our attitude toward television; we regularly decry the monotony of the standard formats and then yelp when someone messes with them.
