Baxter grapplers struggle in road quad

LAKE CITY — Baxter’s wrestling team struggled during a road quadrangular on Tuesday night. The Bolts won just one match on the night and were defeated by AC/GC, Woodward-Granger and host South Central Calhoun.

W-G defeated Baxter 77-0, South Central Calhoun took down the Bolts 69-0 and AC/GC handed Baxter a 60-6 loss.

The lone win on the night was a pin by Micah Kearns against AC/GC. Kearns defeated Jon Pavelka by pin in 1:39. The Bolts were 1-11 in contested matches overall.

Baxter competes in a quadrangular at 6 p.m. on Thursday in Montezuma.
