Football teams from the University of Iowa and Iowa State University learned their bowl destinations on Sunday afternoon.
The No. 16 Hawkeyes (9-3) will spend the holiday season in San Diego, California, and will face the 22nd-ranked USC Trojans (8-4) in the Holiday Bowl, while the Cyclones (7-5) will head south to play No. 15 Notre Dame (10-2) in the Camping World Bowl in Orlando, Florida.
The Holiday Bowl is at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 27, and will be televised by FS1.
The Camping World Bowl is at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 28, and will be televised by ABC.
