KEOTA — Colfax-Mingo’s volleyball team won its second straight South Iowa Cedar League match on Monday night.
The Tigerhawks made the long trek to Keota and came home with a 25-14, 27-25, 25-14 win over the Eagles.
Official statistics were unavailable at presstime, but C-M coach Michelle Grant said sophomore Melany Vry played well and finished with “about eight kills.”
The win improved the Tigerhawks’ record to 5-15 overall and 2-5 in SICL play. Keota dropped to 2-12 overall and 2-6 in conference action.
Colfax-Mingo hosts Iowa Valley at 7 p.m. on Thursday in Colfax.
