Suspicious male reported in Grinnell-area

The Grinnell Police Department issued a press release about a suspicious male who has been seen in the area.

Two incidents have been reported recently where two teen-aged females were approached by a male driving a light-colored SUV, possibly a Chevy. Both females reported they were walking during daylight hours when the male stopped his vehicle, got out and engaged the females in conversation asking personal questions about where they live, where they go to school and saying things like “see you later.”

The male made both females nervous and uncomfortable. The GPD is asking for anyone with information about these incidents to contact the department as they would like to speak to this individual.
