As we come closer to election day, I wanted to reach out to everyone I met throughout Jasper County and say “thanks” for sharing your ideas, concerns and frank conversation. It was great to meet so many new friends and talk about more than just elections.
I have 16 years experience working with government budgets and promise to provide funding for essential services while keeping property taxes low. I will use my proven success working with stakeholders, developers and investors to attract new business and housing, building tax base throughout Jasper County.
My proven leadership and experience will be working for you full-time to get the business of Jasper County government done efficiently and effectively. I will work with board members, all elected officials and staff to develop a citizen driven comprehensive plan to ensure clear, concise and positive direction for our future. I will respond to every citizen concern, issue or inquiry and work to achieve an acceptable resolution. I will work with the board members and staff to address and resolve issues with our bridges and county roads. I will work with all county departments to adopt a county budget that ensures we are levying only the taxes necessary to provide the essential services and support for all departments and infrastructure needs. I will also work to have all county board meetings and workshops streamed live on our website and video posted so it can be viewed by any citizen of Jasper County who cannot attend the meeting in person.
Finally, I will always conduct myself in a profession I manner, with the utmost respect for my colleagues as we work together for the betterment of Jasper County. It would be an honor and a privilege to serve you as your Supervisor. I ask for your vote on Nov. 6, together we will make a positive difference. Thank you for your support.
