Nolte, Cornman & Johnson P.C. released an audit report on the Colfax-Mingo Community School District.
The District’s revenues totaled $10,215,868 for the year ended June 30, 2017, a 5.32 percent increase from the prior year. Revenues included local tax of $3,673,898, statewide sales, services and use of tax of $701,808, charges for service of $329,806, operating grants, contributions and restricted interest of $1,048,381, unrestricted state grants of $4,421,897, unrestricted interest of $6,571 and other general revenues of $33,507.
Expenses for District operations totaled $8,963,562, a 1.26 percent increase from the prior year. Expenses included $3,331,580 for regular instruction, $1,434,378 for special instruction and $1,090,564 for other instruction.
