• Mackenize L. Carter, 23, of Newton, was arrested on a Jasper County warrant for failure to appear for a probation hearing on a fourth-degree theft charge after authorities were called at 1:44 a.m. May 29 at 1217 Monroe Drive. She was taken to the Jasper County Jail.
• Joe H. Brooks, 39, of Newton, was arrested on a Story County warrant for contempt after authorities were called at 5:51 a.m. May 30 to 1104 N. Fourth Ave. E. He was taken to the Jasper County Jail.
• Steven E. Daniels, 39, of Newton, was arrested on two Jasper County warrants for probation violation after authorities were called at 6:40 p.m. Friday to 309 S. Eighth Ave. W. He was taken to the Jasper County Jail.
• Matthew A. McNeer, 33, of Newton, was arrested on a Department of Corrections warrant for parole violation after authorities were called at 7 p.m. Tuesday to 922 E. 19th St. N. He was taken to the Jasper County Jail.
