Second graders complete JA

Mrs. Reynolds’ second grade class at Thomas Jefferson school recently completed the Junior Achievement program. The class was broken into five one-hour sessions and included topics including the importance of careers, our community, money, credit unions/banks, paying taxes and of keeping money in your local community. The class was facilitated by Jeff Holschuh of Advantage Credit Union through a partnership with the Newton Development Corporation.
