John Thomas, 85, of Canfield, Ohio, formally of Newton, passed away Dec. 28, 2017, in Youngstown, Ohio.
John was the son of Herbert and Marie Thomas. He graduated from Newton High School in 1950.
John is survived by wife, Violet Nemeth Thomas; son, Dr. David (Michele); granddaughters, Hannah and Lauren of Canfield, Ohio; brothers, Richard, Marvin (Arlene) and Larry (Marge) of Newton, and Keith (Janet) of Farmington, Minn.
