Newton student to perform in Indian Hills CC concert

OTTUMWA — The Indian Hills Community College choral department will be presenting its fall concert, “It’s Elemental,” at 3 p.m. Sunday, in St. John Auditorium on the Ottumwa campus. Newton native, Jaci Guthrie will be apart of the performance.

The songs will follow the theme of earth, air, fire, and water, and will be performed by the Indian Hills Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, Tono Bella Women’s Choir, Men’s Choir, and soloists.
Songs like Under the Sea, Colors of the Wind, Swinging on a Star, Stormy Weather, Old Devil Moon, and several others will be performed.

The concert is family-friendly and admission is free. You’re invited to join the various IHCC groups for an hour of fun on Nov. 5.
