Questers

Spirit of ‘76 Questers met at the home of Rita Reinheimer Oct. 25. President Suzanne Clayton and Vice President Barb Pherigo conducted the business meeting. A report was given on the recent state Fall Fling. A discussion was held about possible donation choices for the holiday season. The group will be decorating a Christmas Tree at the Jasper County Museum in preparation for their December open house.

A program on chocolate was given by guest Becky Brown. She shared the history of chocolate while members indulged in a variety of delectable homemade chocolate confections. Becky also shared her collection of books, chocolate pots, and chocolate molds.

Spirit of ‘76 Questers is open to women and men who have an interest in antiques and collectibles. Anyone desiring to learn more about the group is invited to contact Suzanne Clayton at 641-831-3627.
