Jasper County GOP hosts trap shoot

The Jasper County Republican Party will hold its 4th annual trap shoot fundraiser at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Jasper County Gun Club, 624 W. 28th St. S.

This is a fun, family-friendly event where you can not only express your affinity for the second amendment by shooting clay pigeons but also meet and mingle with Republican officials and candidates. A barbecue lunch from Moo’s BBQ will be served with a tailgating atmosphere.

Invited guests include Gov. Kim Reynolds, Lt. Gov. Adam Gregg, District 14 Sen. Amy Sinclair, District 28 Rep. Greg Heartsill, Jasper County Supervisor Denny Carpenter, Jasper County Supervisor, Doug Cupples, candidate for governor Ron Corbett and candidate for US Congress District 2 Dr. Christopher Peters.

Organizers encourage all Second Amendment enthusiasts and Republican supporters to attend.
