STORY CITY — The Prairie City-Monroe volleyball team opened Heart of Iowa Conference play Thursday with a road loss to Roland-Story.
The Lady Norse (8-2 overall, 3-0 in the HOIC) swept the Mustangs 25-13, 25-11, 25-11 in front of their home fans.

PCM plays in its home opener against Saydel at 7 p.m. Thursday in Monroe.
