Laura Ingalls Wilder at the Newton library

Kirkwood Community College Reference Librarian and historical interpreter Sarah S. Uthoff will be presenting a program on famous author and pioneer Laura Ingalls Wilder at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Uthoff is a respected authority on Laura Ingalls Wilder’s life and a keynote speaker at Laura Days in Laura’s birthplace of Pepin Wisconsin. Attendees are invited to dress in period costume and bring their questions about Wilder and pioneer life. All ages welcome. This event is made possible by Humanities Iowa.
