Oskaloosa man arrested on drug charges

An Oskaloosa man is accused of selling illegal drugs following a vehicle and home search by the Mid-Iowa Narcotics Enforcement Task Force Monday.

Zackary A. Wallace, 23, was arrested at 12:45 a.m. after Oskaloosa police conducted a search warrant on Wallace’s vehicle and residence located at 807 North H Street Apartment 1.

Illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia were seized and Wallace was transported to the Mahaska County Jail.

Wallace faces charges of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, a class D felony and failure to affix a drug tax stamp, a class D felony.

The Mid-Iowa Narcotics Enforcement Task Force is based in Des Moines and currently has 21 central Iowa local, county, state and federal agencies participating in the task force, including Jasper County.
